I'm reading 'Raising Vegan Children in a Non-vegan World' by Erin Pavlina.
I'm curious what everyone else has their nose in at the moment! :)
@yabbit -"The Forme of Cury" you were reading made me think of a show you might like, The Supersizers Go. The hosts "eat their way through history" for a week then have a health check-up. Not technically vegan-friendly, but it made me (more) glad I'm an herbivore! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Supersizers...
I've seen many episodes (we get the BBC via satellite). We enjoyed some of them but after awhile the "humour" starts to pall.
Currently reading The Herries Chronicles, by Hugh Walpole. Vol 1: Rogue Herries. At first it read like a bodice-ripper but there is a lot more to it than that. His writing really draws me into that world. I picked up on it via Nella Last's WW2 diaries and Gutenberg.
Finished reading Thackeray's Vanity Fair. Good book, well written, but far too long. In those days all novels were published in 3 volumes which led to severe verborrhea.
I just started Code of the Street by Elijah Anderson. I'm so excited! I love a new book.
