I love her quote "She said vegans should stop whining about what they can and can’t eat, and start cooking.
I enjoy her shows and work and will definately look forward to the next cookbook.

Thanks for the article. I just made coconut pancakes pg32. These have become my new favorite weekend indulgance. Ithink that I am going to try the maple glazed potatoes tonight.
I just love weekends when I get to cook as much as I want :)

Their first cooking show, the one in which they made sushi and coconut pie, made me brave enough to attempt sushi for the first time ever. What fun! My DH and I have made it twice within the last two weeks. More to come... ;D

i especially like how she says that vegetarian cooks should learn to cook vegetables first, and then move on to meat substitutes. i think so many people run into problems when they simply try to recreate what they ate before, instead of really changing how they think about food

Rachandra, I thought exactly the same thing - great minds must think alike!
I really want their Vegan Cupcakes Take Over The World book, but I'm scared... I know if I bought it I'd gain an easy 5 or 6 pounds from "testing" every cupcake :D

Yup, noticed that myself. Some folks posting on their MySpace page said the same thing. Hopefully, they'll get it worked out soon. I've been waiting for some new ppk shows. They promised! ;)
Love the "PPK"! It's great that the NYT's gave her the respect she deserves! Hey CHANDRA!.... are you out here?! ;) (on this site, that is)!
Great article! Thanks for sharing. Her kitchen is as small as mine!!
