I find Oprah to be a narcissistic, hypocritical woman of very little substance.

I love Depp, but mostly for his pirate roll and Sweeny Todd. Oh yes, homicidal is good on him.
I use to watch Trya to see if she could go a show and not say something about her weave.
in depps next movie he's playing an actual historical person - john dillinger, so he won't be the same cartoonish character that he's been recently.

Wow, I think I'm a little bit of a hypocrite, because I like Hugh Grant and I absolutely agree with the fact that he always plays the same character too....

i used to have a crush on hugh grant which is weird for me because I'm so not into celebrities. I even got permission from dh to fool around with hugh with no repercussions, just in case i ever got the chance. now i'd probably turn him down (hugh). i need a replacement! Oh yeah, i forgot. im in total love with jesse L martin! i think dh would let me fool around with him too.

Hugh Grant has made millions being one-demensional and is going with that and the offers he's getting. Can't criticize the guy for that. I'm sure he'd like to take on more roles that expand his "craft" for the art of it all, but in the meantime the millions he gets is just fine with him I'm sure.

Johnny Depp is not a good actor. And Sweeney Todd was an abomination to the wonderful musical.
I can't believe noone mentioned Dr. Phil yet!!!!!!! He's just as annoying as Oprah!
And I use d to not like Johnny Depp until I saw him in some movie a while ago where he plays this delusional character,i think the movie was called the secret window, or something. it was really good.

I may be thrown out of the Austen fanclub for saying this, but neither Hugh Grant nor Colin Firth does a single thing for me. Hugh Grant only ever plays different permutations of the same gormless character with that irritating "Oxford Stammer" which I have heard Radio 4 say is actually a backhanded way of saying "I'm smarter than you." And even though my BGF swoons over Colin Firth as Mistah Dahcy, all I can see are his dentures. (Yup. He's got dentures. All the adults in my mother's house had them when I was a kid. You learn to recognise the set of the mouth.)

wow- jeez guys, thanks for the shout outs. I didn't even realize I'd been away from vegweb for awhile until I came back & saw the "big announcement". I didn't purposely leave or anything, I've just been busy.... selling my avon stuff, I'm involved with the relay for life this weekend for the american cancer society, my running club is putting on a 5K & 10K race soon, that kind of thing.
The fawns are at the wildlife refuge where I volunteer one night a week. I love them :)>>>

i agree, i really dont like oprah. and tyra banks is like oprah's mini-me. i think oprah created tyra banks in her lab so that she can take over her show once she's gone. and tyra just pretends that that lady is her real mom because have you noticed that tyra doesnt look like either of her parents? haha, oprah, i figured you out!!
Hahaaaaaaa. I do get a kick out of Tyra in a "Wow, look at that train wreck" kind of way. I like when she dressed up in the fat suit and experienced life as an obese person.
kinda late on this, but ha! i agree...she also did a story on anorexia and when the girls went on the show she proceeded to let them know that they looked ugly and gross (not in verbatim). THEN she went on to say that they should be happy with the way they are, just, like, her. (cough) yeah tyra, her hair is sooo natural, so is her make-up and the body suit she wears under her clothes to keep "everything" in. BUT none the less her show is quite the WOW.
