I have BBC's Persuasion on, but I can't really get into. I've heard thought that BBC's Sense & Sensibility is good. Of course I"ve watched the Ang Lee Emma Thompson version which is superb... I may get it this week to see :P
season 1 of 24

I noticed some of you watch British movies. I am a long time Jeremy Northam fan. I just watched Dean Spanley twice last night. I bought the DVD from UK Amazon! It is a great movie. Funny :-D, Whimsical, and touching too. Great Script! I hope this DVD will release in US soon! :)>>>
Ooooh...Jeremy Northam...*swoon*...*double swoon*.... :)>>>
I'm watching Happy-Go-Lucky. The main character & I have a lot in common!
Yesterday I watched Napoleon Dynamite.
I watched Enter the Dragon for the first time the other day, and it rocked. Now I just have to follow it up with The Last Dragon. Sho Nuff!
Stomp Out Loud, earlier. Next up: The Uninvited
Tonight I'm starting season 2 of Absolutely Fabulous!!
Sweetie darling.
We're re-re-re-re-watching Arrested Development
It's inexplicably funny. Like, you know exactly what's coming, when, and how... yet still struggle to not laugh whatever you're drinking out your nose.
Or maybe that's just us..?
Westies,
If we were on Facebook, I would "like" this. I would "like" it a lot! ;D
I am sure no one will know what this is but I am watching the final season of Mcleods Daughters. Its an aussie show thats just been released on dvd. If someone loves or watches the show as well let me know!!!
Full House :P
i watched Mr Fix-It today, a movie starring David Boreanaz about a guy who dates people's ex's and acts specifically to get the girl to go back to her ex. Got it on discount and it's been sittin in my dvd case for a while. I was expecting more from a movie with David Boreanaz in it, but whatever, at least he was nice to look at! :)>>>
Has anyone watched "The Reader" with Kate Winslet. I watched it a couple weeks ago and I have to say it was really moving. One of the best movies I have seen in a long long time.

I watched that recently, too! I was really impressed ... it was about a million times better than I expected, and so beautifully shot.
I guess I'll have to read the book now, huh?
the sound of music :)>>>
I can't believe it. After all the fuss I went through to order Zeffirelli's Hamlet months ago, there it is, still shrink-wrapped?? I haven't even checked it?? BTW I never knew Mel Gibson could actually act. After being severely underwhelmed by Braveheart, I was doubly startled. And they did a good job of cutting the text, too.
An Aussie-American playing the angst-ridden melancholy Dane... :o
Rise of the Lycans

Okay, I've gotta ask... how was it? What I've seen of the first two made my brain want to vomit. But for some reason, the trailer for the 3rd film looked... good. So what's the verdict?
My daughter and I have been jamming on the Muppet Show, Season 1 (we don't watch tv at our house. So a DVD episode a couple times a week is a real treat for her). IT's so awesome to see her falling in love with the characters and the humor.
She has even developed little girl crush on "Mr. Joel Grey". Heh.
I started watching Death at a funeral last night, but I couldn't get into it
