What movie would you like to live in?

We all have days when reality gets a little tight and uncomfortable, when you'd love to just live some other life for awhile. So what movie would you like to live in?
I'd go for Jeremy Brett's version of The Hound of the Baskervilles. Nobody but the bad guy gets hurt, justice is done, and the houses are gorgeous. I'd love to live in an isolated Stately Home on the moors right about now.
What about you?
I haven't actually seen the one with Johnny Depp...I hope it isn't a musical.
The remake SUCKED in a really big way. I usually like Johnny Depp, but this was just terrible......horrible.......atrocious......
Like I say, I only saw the tail end but I was totally weirded out by his characterization, makeup etc. And the warm, fuzzy ending wasn't really. Blergh.
Or maybe I'd be a pizza delivery guy in a certain genre... nah.
:-D :-D :-D
If I was Lola in Run Lola Run, I would seriously be in great shape! That movies tires me out just watching it.

I was wondering if we could be in that specific genre of film...

I don't think I'd wanna live there, but I love that movie! I have it in the 3 languages I speak. Like "Three Colours: Blue" it just draws me into its world and I cannot interrupt it, I have to watch it straight through.

I totally agree, I really liked that movie!
Lost in Translation
also Dazed and Confused. I didn't realize how many people loved that movie.
YES! ;)b
I love Dazed and Confused too, but under no circumstances would I want to return to the 1970s or high school.
I've thought this over carefully and I've decided on The Thin Man.

Yes, definitely. And we'd teach Nora not to wear fur coats.
I found myself reeeally wanting to live in that big beautiful beach house in Something's Gotta Give (of course, I'd kick Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton out first). I kinda felt like running away to Tuscany after seeing Under the Tuscan Sun.

;D Maybe we could bring her some faux furs from the 21st century.
I gotta agree with those who said "Peter Pan" and "Willy Wonka"! Also, I would LOVE to live in a musical, maybe something sweet and upbeat like "Mama Mia" ;)b
I could totally live in Under the Tuscan Sun, Elizabeth, Circle of Friends, Ohh...Nottinghill. Sense and Sensability, well, pretty much any romantic period drama. I wish I had a time machine!
I'd like to live in the weird windmill house inhabited by Michael Caine and Dianne Keaton (? was it her?) in "Deathtrap." However not with Michael Caine's character!!
The Notebook cuz I love that era. Beautiful dresses, shoes, hair, and makeup. Maybe Crybaby too. I love retro!!!!!!!!!!!! Or Urban Cowboy cuz I love that movie. Or Cole Miners Daughter cuz that was when country was gold.
The Thin Man sounded good to me at first, until I realized I'd be a damn lightweight. Nick and Nora would drink me under the table by noon.
Xanadu ;)b

The sad thing is, Bill Powell had a real drinking problem. Of course there was only water in the "martini" glasses in the pictures, but pretending to drink all day didn't help his addiction.
