Banana Chocolate Protein ShakeIngredients (use vegan versions): 1 - 1 1/2 tablespoon cocoa
1 banana
3-4 ice cubes
protein powder (optional)
a splash of soy milk (I use Silk Vanilla Soy Milk)
Directions:Mix it all together! *Bananas are a wonderful way to thicken a shake (if you like the flavor); so add more for a thicker consistency.
This is a great sweet-tooth satisfier but also just a yummy way to wake up!
Serves: 1
Preparation time: 5 minutes or less
This is very good; I like to add 1 - 1.5 tbsp of nut butter, too! Peanut and almond are both great. For the sake of texture, it does help to add about 1/4 cup of cultured soy (yogurt) when you add the nut butter. Thank you for this recipe - its a tasty, easy treat.

This was good. I used Silk Chocolate Soy Milk and added a little vegan sugar and it was like a chocolate attack(not that that's a bad thing!). Maybe next time I'll use vanilla.

This is yummy! A great use for those over-ripe bananas when its too hot to bake banana bread

I used a few chunks of dark chocolate as I had no cocoa and added almond butter. This is very flexible and is definitely a keeper!

I used carob powder instead of the cocoa because its healthier and the shake turned out great, thanks...mmm
