Toasted Bread Tomato Sandwich

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

    1/2 tomato
    2 slices white bread
    margarine
    Nayonnaise
    dash of vinegar
    salt

Directions:

Put the slices of vegan bread in the toaster and set for gloden brown.  While vegan bread is toasting, slice the tomato into medium-thin slices When vegan bread is done, put margarine on both slices (optional) and put Nayonnaise on the top piece.  Then layer the tomato slices on top of the bottom piece of vegan bread.  Sprinkle vinager then salt on the tomato slices to taste.  Place top slice of vegan bread on and enjoy!

Serves: 1

Preparation time: 3-5 min.

I really like tomato sandwiches on toast, but I like to use cream cheese instead.  Tres delish!

This is awful. What is nayonaisse? Salt should always preceed vinegar so that the salt is washe'd through. I can't believe I care about this.  Friedslice590

I love this sandwich! I sprinkle some garlic powder on one of the bread slices, a slice of vegan cheese is good too. I've tried shredded fried cabbage to this one as well...all yummy.
