1 pound fresh green beans
1 Tbs (or so) oil
4 medium garlic cloves minced
2 shallots thinly sliced
salt n pepper to taste
1. Trim ends and rinse green beans.
2. Over medium heat sautee the grene beans in the oil while chopping the garlic and shallots.
3. Mince garlic and slice shallots.
4. Add to green beans and turn heat to low/medium and let cook stirring occasionaly. The shallots and garlic will brown but should not burn. season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook beans to your liking (I prefer al dente green beans) between 5 and 15 minutes.
served with lemon wedges (or grilled lemon if your fancy)
