1 1/2 cups soy milk
1 ripe regular sized banana (or 2 small) in chunks
5 ice cubes or about 1/2 cup crushed ice
2-3 dates (no pits)
1/4 cup peanut butter (or more or less to taste)
Combine soy milk, ice cubes, peanut butter, and banana chunks in blender. Blend until ice is broken up and mixture is smooth.
Break up the dates and put them in the blender. Mix until dates are chopped to desired consistency. I like it when they are still kind of chunky so that there's something to chew on at the bottom of the smoothie.
