75gm peeled onion
4 heaped tablespoon chopped fresh coriander
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground roasted cumin seed (before grinding roast seed in a dry pan until
light brown and strongly aromatic)
Cut tomato and onion into moderately fine dice. Put into a smallish, non-metallic serving bowl. Add all other ingredients and combine.
Serve with a selection of Indian dishes.
