1 clove garlic
1 sliced tomato (very ripe)
1 tablespoon vegan margarine
dash of herbs (oregano, basil, rosemary, fresh or dry)
dash of olive oil
Peel and chop a clove of garlic and mash in a mortar and pestle. Add vegan margarine and mash some more. You can add the herbs at this point and mash if you'd like.
Spread the garlic mixture onto one half of the bread and line the other half with the sliced tomato. Drizzle the tomato with olive oil and toss the herbs on top, if you didn't mash them with the garlic.
Toast in a toaster oven to at least medium. Put it together and enjoy!!
