1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup buckwheat flour
1/2 cup quick oats
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1-2 teaspoon blackstrap molasses
1/2-1 teaspoon cinnamon (or more if you like)
1-2 tablespoons applesauce
1 cup soymilk
Gently mix ingredients until just mixed--some lumps will still be there.
Let sit for about 10 minutes, then stir gently again.
Cook in oiled waffle maker until done. I like to top with more cinnamon and pure maple syrup. Bananas and nuts are great too!
This breakfast keeps me full until I get to eat next, which sometimes is a long time from my first meal. So yummy and filling!
