1/4 cup flour
1 cup vanilla soy milk
1 cup white sugar
1 cup or 2 Earth Balance buttery sticks (not spread) or other firm vegan margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla or rum extract
1 cup powdered sugar
1. Combine flour and soymilk in a sauce pan until thickened and cool to room temperature.
2. Cream vegan butter and white sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the cooled flour mixture, powdered sugar, and extract and continue to beat until fluffy.
