1/2 stick (1/4 cup) vegan margarine (Earth Balance)
juice of 1/2 a lemon
1/3 cup vegan sour cream (Tofutti Sour Cream)
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
Melt the Earth Balance in the microwave until soft & melty. Stir in the rest of the ingredients and serve.
I love this as a dipping sauce for artichokes, but it's wonderful on tofu benedict, broccoli, in place of a "cheezy" sauce on anything. My Mom always said that she could serve my Dad anything-even sawdust-with hollandaise, and he'd think it was delicious. This is my easy vegan way of making it.
