as many vegan plain or onion/garlic bagel halves needed
vegan pizza sauce as needed. go for 2 jars
1 large can sliced mushrooms or thinly sliced fresh ones
dried basil and or oregano (optional)
1 big yummy slice vegan mozzarella cheese per bagel half
very very thin sliced sweet yellow onion for each bagel
Preheat oven to 325-350 degrees Fahrenheit. On a baking sheet, add as many bagel halves as needed well spaced. Add the sauce on each half, and mushrooms and onions, sprinkle with seasonings and then top with the vegan cheese slices. Bake until crusty and the cheese is melted. If you broil the bagels, the top will cook before the bottoms will. If you micro, it will be quicker to get done but they will not be as crispy ..but wonderfully chewy!
