3 cups brown rice
2 teaspoons turmeric
1 cup raisins
1/2 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans or 1 cup pre-cooked garbanzo beans
1. Add brown rice to a rice cooker. Fill rice cooker with water to the 4 cup mark for al dente, plus a little more water for the raisins to absorb. (Also, add a little more water if you like soft sticky rice.)
2. Stir in turmeric, followed by raisins and garbanzo beans.
3. Cook according to rice cooker instructions.
