vegan margarine (I use Earth Balance)
4 slices sourdough bread
vegan mayonnaise (I use Vegenaise)
minced garlic, to taste
1 avocado, sliced
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste (I use garlic pepper)
1. Spread butter one one side of each piece of bread. Spread a thin layer of veganaise on the opposite side of bread.
2. Spread out the minced garlic on two slices of bread. Layer avocado on top of the bread with the garlic. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the avocado.
3. Top with the other piece of bread, butter side up.
4. Grill both sides until brown. Enjoy!
Source of recipe: I threw this together one day, and now I eat it at least three times a week. My favorite sandwich ever.
