1 banana (I use frozen)
1 tablespoon wheat germ
1/2 cup vanilla soy yogurt
1 tablespoon agave nectar
1 scoop vanilla soy protein powder
1/4 of a large, ripe avocado (or 1/2 of a small one)
1/2 cup soy or non-dairy milk of your choice (plain or vanilla)
3/4 cup spinach
1 cup frozen blueberries
All these measurements are estimations as I usually just throw my smoothies together. It's best to eyeball it and experiment with it to see what works best for you!
1) Put the frozen banana, soy yogurt, soy protein powder, wheat germ, agave, and avocado in the blender. Add 1/2 cup soy milk, or more or less depending on if you like your smoothies thicker or thinner. I usually fill it til the fruits and such are mostly covered. Blend until smooth.
If your smoothie is already pretty thick at this point, add in a bit more soy milk or water along with your spinach and frozen blueberries. If you don't have any spinach on hand, this recipe is also delicious with kale!Blend everything once again and enjoy!
