2 teaspoons margarine
4 cloves garlic
generous shake dried onion flakes
3 silverbeet leaves and stalks, washed well
soy sauce, as needed
dash vinegar (balsamic is the best)
sprinkle paprika, to taste
1. Melt the margarine in a frying pan. Add dried onion flakes and garlic. Once browned, tear or chop silverbeet and add to pan.
2. Let this fry for a few seconds then add soy sauce and vinegar. Turn down the heat and let this reduce, tossing occasionally.
3. Add a dash of paprika, to taste. When the silverbeet is soft and has absorbed some of the liquid, but is still green, it is ready to serve.
