1 ounce semi sweet dark chocolate or 1 teaspoon dark cocoa + 1 tablespoon vegan margarine
1 tablespoon vegan margarine
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1 1/3 cups powdered sugar, divided
1/3 cup graham cracker crumbs (I used ginger snap crumbs)
1. Lay out a 13" piece of wax paper/plastic wrap on the counter. Prepare some pieces of wax paper/plastic wrap in small rectangles; approximately 2x2".
2. In a medium sauce pan, melt chocolate and vegan margarine on low heat. Stir constantly to mix thoroughly. Add light corn syrup; mix thoroughly.
3. Add 1/3 cup powdered sugar and all crumbs; mix thoroughly. When everything is mixed, remove from heat. Take mixture out of the pan and lay it on the wax/plastic wrap.
4. Knead in the remaining 1 cup powdered sugar. When everything is combined, divide into 4 equal parts. Roll each part into a 10" 'snake.' Cut into 10 equal parts. Wrap each piece in wax paper or plastic wrap like a Tootsie Roll.
