8 ounces vegan cream cheese
8 ounces vegan crab meat
1/2 cup vegan sour cream
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon vegan Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 green onion, sliced thinly
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
black pepper, to taste
1/2 package (25-35 count) wonton wrappers
vegan butter, melted, to top
nonstick spray, as needed
1. Mix together all the filling ingredients (up to wrappers) in a medium sized bowl. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
2. Begin building crab rangoons by putting 1-1 1/2 teaspoons filling in the center of the wonton wrapper (I used 35 wrappers for my filling). Seal closed with water.
3. Spray baking trays with nonstick spray and put wontons on tray. Brush melted butter on the tops of each crab rangoon.
4. Place in oven and bake until golden brown, 8-12 minutes (10 minutes in my oven). Wait to serve until warm to touch.
