3/4 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1/4 cup raw, ground flax seed
1 cup whole oats
1/2 cup agave nectar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup vegan margarine (I like Earth Balance)
1 (14 ounce) can cranberry sauce
1. Preheat oven to 360 degrees F. To make the crust, combine all ingredients but cranberry sauce together in a large bowl with a fork, mixing well until crumbly.
2. Set aside 1/3 cup crust mixture and press the rest into a square glass casserole dish or lined cupcake trays.
3. Spread the cranberry sauce over the crust, and sprinkle with remaining oat mixture.
4. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool completely and cut into bars. Refrigerate and enjoy!
