2 (16 ounce) cans garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
4 tablespoons tahini
1 large roasted red pepper (I use Reece brand)
2 teaspoons soy sauce
4 large garlic cloves
1 large lime, juiced
1 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
paprika, to garnish
1. Place beans in a food processor and add all other ingredients.
2. Blend and add water as needed until it reaches a smooth consistency (I add about 1/3 cup water).
3. Top with paprika and serve with pita wedges or baguette slices.
