2 1/2 cups stale bread, cubed 1"
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried parsley
2 tablespoons vegan butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 cup vegan cheese, shredded (Daiya works great)
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Put herbs in a spice blender and grind finely. In a frying pan, heat butter on low.
2. When melted, stir in seasonings and garlic. Let cook for 1 minute, while stirring. Add bread squares and stir well to cover with herbs and butter. Season, to taste
3. Cook for 2 minutes then transfer everything to a cookie sheet. Cover with shredded cheese and bake for 12-15 minutes. Keep an eye on them. They are done with they are crispy and golden.
