3:00 AM Starving Student Dinner

What you need:

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small onion, diced
1 medium potato, in 1/2 in cubes
2 tablespoons textured soy protein
spices-salt, sugar, chili powder, Italian spices, turmeric, soy sauce, ginger, hoisin
sauce, sesame oil, cloves, whatever you like!
1 15oz can of beans- I used Westbrae natural organic soup beans
. . . anything else you can scrounge up

What you do:

In a medium sized frying pan, sauté onions until almost translucent; meanwhile soak textured soy protein in warm water and prep the potato.
Add the textured soy protein and whatever spices your using (go as crazy as you dare with these, if its 3 am and you're hungry it'll taste good) and let fry until textured soy protein is browned and spiced and the onions done.
Add the potatoes and cook for another ten minutes or so. Add beans, stir, turn the heat down, cover and let sit until potatoes are soft. Enjoy!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

Mmmm...I'm not a starving student (again!), but will definitely try this!  Has all my favorite ingredients and very versatile!

Thanks!

I'll post again, once I make it, probably tomorrow's dinner... ;D
