5 Minute Veggie Burgers

What you need:

1 can chickpeas
3 large portobello mushrooms
1 small zucchini
minced garlic
dried mixed herbs (oregano, onion or garlic powder, chili powder, etc)
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon flour

What you do:

Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor and process until mushy. Form patties and lightly coat in a bit of flour. Then lightly fry in a shallow pan.
These are so easy and healthy. Also the leftover patties can be frozen and even make a great meat-alternative to any recipe!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

We drained the liquid and when it was not blending, my first thought was it may have needed the liquid.  Second was perhaps the can was too big.  Most recipes do say the size of the can or the amount of the ingredient.

It is frustrating when what you expected to be a short time to prepare a meal, turns into a much longer process and the result is not so good.

if the liquid was supposed to go in, it usually says "with liquid", and most people know what an average can size is.  If it was bigger than that, it would be stated.  I think you can rate a recipe without being bitchy!

Recipe needs more specificity....Like the size of the can of chickpeas; do you add the chickpea liquid?
5 minute veggie burger?  Let's call it 50 minute burger....or pancake with a mushy middle.
