SO HOW'D IT GO?

These cookies are really what they say, amazing. They are phenomenal. All of my roommates and coworkers loved them. I added a little extra vanilla extract and cocoa powder to the mix to give them some extra kick. The cocoa made the whole cookie taste all chocolatey!

Mmmm.  :)

If you didn't follow the recipe why are you complaining? It's probably something you did wrong. I've never had objections to these cookies. Everyone loves them. I make large amounts of them very often for friends and family.. Most who don't know they are even vegan.

Alright, So I followed the recepie the first time, but it was too oily, which is usually a problem I have with Chocolate chip cookies.

So I tried it again creaming the sugars with 1/4 cup of soy margarine. then added 1/4 cup of oil. They tured out fluffy and yummy.

Of course to half of my recepie I added hot sauce, spicy mustard and onion powder to make a completely disgusting spicy cookie for my english presentation on beauty. I think some people will be... suprised. iickkk.

I didn't exactly follow the recipe.  I used wheat flour, as that was all I had.  I used the one ener-g egg replacer instead of applesauce.  Other than that I followed it and my dough wasn't doughy.  It was like I just mixed flour and sugar together with a little oil.  Then I tasted it and it tasted like oil.  Then I waited to see how they came out after I put them in the over, but I think my oven sucks or I don't know how to use it, anyway, the bottoms were burnt.  I had to use soymilk to get the dough to stick together.  I think if I tried this recipe again, I would use margarine instead of or as part of the oil and definitely use white flour.  I also think I might use more sugar, they weren't bland, but if I'm gonna make choc chip cookies I want them to be so good I can't stop eating them.  The main thing was that the dough didn't stick together and it tasted like oil.

:) very decent. i used egg replacer. the raw dough was a bit crumbly, but the cookies come out good. they don't spread out much. i undercooked them to obtain a slightly softer, chewy cookie.

This cookie recipe is awesome, instead of applesauce, I used cranberry puree. The tartness of the cranberries really enhanced the taste of the chocolate. I also used walnuts which went well with the other flavors. I gave some cookies to my non vegan friends and they couldn't believe they were eating vegan cookies.  Thanks!

The sweetness  as per the recipe is just right.  It takes like baking soda a lot.  Any remedies?

i didn't like these at all. their texture is like sand...  :P

Okay I have actually experimented with this recipe a bit , I'll go to the store and get more chocolate chips, I'll try to remember what I did, I got them to end up like Matt's Chocolate Chips cookies, real similar, I reduced the sugar 75% and I used 3 different flours...anyway I'll try and remember exactly and post the exact changes in the recipe that I found I liked.

First, I must say that these were just OKay.  Because I read all the reviews saying they were so awesome, I say this comparatively.  Otherwise, if I had read no review I may also praise them highly.  The thing I noticed right away was the oil, it was a lot so I tasted and smelled it first.  Im going to try it again with walnut oil, I didn't right away because I did not want to waste any but maybe this will make the aroma when I go and bite them much more desirable -=) Any other suggestions??
