Apple Pie

What you need: 

8 apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup soy margarine
1 pie crust

What you do: 

Mix 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, and apples together. Place in pir crust. Mix remaining sugar, flour, and soy margarine until crumbly. Sprinkle crumbs over pie and bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.

This was such a good recipie! I had a bunch of apples that were starting to get a little old so I thought I'd make a pie! It was tasty and easy to make.
There were too many apples to fit in the crust. I think maybe 5 medium to smallish apples would be fine. And I had to put some extra flour in the topping mixture, but otherise it was delish!

Yeah! This was great! I made this pie after attending an apple festival and buying some apples. I think 8 was too many, as we had lots that didn't fit in the crust. We just baked them separately though, and ate them up. Now I am using the same crumbly topping to make a peach cobbler with farmer's market peaches...its in the oven and smells soooooo good!
