Awesome Peach Cobbler

What you need:

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup non-dairy milk
1/2 cup (1 stick) vegan margarine
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 (15-ounce) can peaches, or to preference

What you do:

This recipe can easily be halved and baked in a 9" x 9" square baking dish. (I like to use a glass baking dish over a metal or ceramic one.)
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
1. In a 9" x 13" baking dish, mix flour, sugar, non-dairy milk, margarine, and baking powder.
2. Cut up the peaches and put them on top or mix them in.
3. Bake until crust is golden brown, 25 to 35 minutes.
People say this is the best cobbler they've ever had and it makes me feel guilty that it's so easy!
Source of recipe: The original recipe was my great-grandmothers.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

You melt it. I make this all the time and sometimes put canned cherry pie filling or apple as well as the plain can of peaches minus the juice . It is all good ! Thanks for reminding me of the Granny cobblers of yesteryears Smile She gets 5 stars from me!

Do you melt the margarine first or cut it into the flour solid?  Thanks.
