The Best Waffles Ever

What you need: 

1 1/2 teaspoons egg substitute dissolved in hazelnut milk
1 3/4 cup hazelnut milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons grape seed oil
1 1/4 cups oat flour
3 tablespoons baking powder
2 tablespoons unrefined sugar
3/4 teaspoon sea salt

What you do: 

Mix together wet ingredients (first 4).
Whisk together dry ingredients.
Add wet into dry and let sit as waffle iron heats up. Batter should be thick.
Cook until steam stops.
You can substitute maple syrup. The hazelnut milk is made from roasted hazelnuts, commercially made.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

This recipe as written is awful. :'( NOTE THE TYPO!!!! It should be 3 teaspoons baking soda.  ;)b

I didn't know what to expect with this one but I really loved it! I did have to make some adjustments based on what I had but they ended up being perfect (and without applesauce or bananas)- they actually tasted like funnel cake to me!  :)>>>

My Subs:
- 1 cup of organic unbleached white flour and 3/4 cup of rolled oats I ground into flour
- regular unsweetened almond milk (the little hazelnut I had was bad) a good quality and flavor milk really stands out in this recipe
- safflower oil

NOTICE: I don't think it's supposed to be 3 TEASPOONS of baking powder (not tablespoons) - that's what I used and it was great.
