Black Bean Salsa

What you need:

1 small can jalapenos in escabeche sauce
1 can tomato sauce (or make your own by broiling then blending tomatoes)
1 can black beans
garlic cloves and chili powder (or chilies) to taste

What you do:

Put half of the beans and half of the jalapenos in a blender/food processor and lightly chop it. Dump this into a mixing bowl (I just dump it right into the bowl that I will be serving it in), and add the rest of the beans.
Add as much tomato sauce as you want, depending on how thick you want it. At this point, you may want to taste it because that escabeche sauce is HOT. I never add the rest of the can, but some people like it spicy.
Sauté garlic and chilies and mix it in (or just add the powders).
Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping over burritos.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I forgot to add one can of Mexicorn (corn with peppers already chopped in it)!  Add this after you blend the beans and jalapenos--it makes the salsa!
