Broccoli and Pasta
1 head broccoli, chopped to florets
1-2 dashes mild salsa (I use Pace)
1 small bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
2 slices red onion, chopped finely
1. Pan broil the broccoli, so that it turns a dark green and stays crisp. Cook the rotini according to package directions, until it is al dente.
2. Mix in the broccoli, the salsa, cilantro and the red onion.
The idea is to enhance the flavors in the commercial salsa by adding more of them from fresher sources. It tastes good.'
