Cabbage Un-Rolls

What you need: 

1 cabbage, chopped
6 carrots, chopped, optional
1 (24 ounce) jar tomato sauce
1 bouillion cube
1 (12 ounce) package vegan ground round (I use Yves)
salt and pepper, to taste
8 cups rice, cooked

What you do: 

1. Put cabbage, carrots, sauce, bouillon, and tomato sauce jar full of water in large pot.
2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until vegetables are soft.
3. Stir in ground round. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve over hot rice.
All the deliciousness of cabbage rolls, none of the work!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I just made this and the ease of this is fantastic. Thee only thing I would tweak quite a bit was the spice of the dish. The salt an pepper alone did not cut it. But I will just add more spices next time or slap it i my slow cooker and that way the spices have time to do their thing. We all worked this Christmas Eve and none of us had time to do any extensive cooking so this was perfect. Thanks for a comfort food dish.

We will make this again for sure.
