Casey Jones Rum and Pasta
8 oz. pasta of choice, cooked and drained
3 or 4 tablespoons minced garlic
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
5 or 6 tablespoons rum
1 pack salad dressing mix (Italian)
1 14 oz. can diced tomatoes
2 tablespoons vinegar
After you cook and drain the pasta, add the rum to the pasta, and just leave it be for about 5 minutes or so.Use your own judgement on how much or how little... the rum just allows the pasta to take in a different kind of flavor than usual.
Add the garlic, olive oil, vinegar and dressing packet, and just stir it all up. I like to use alot of garlic, just because I love it, but you can use howe'ver much you want.
Add the tomatoes, and stir it gently.
