Cheezburger

What you need:

2 burger buns
2-3 vegan sausages
1 handful rolled oats
1 handful breadcrumbs
salad greens
avocado (optional)
tomato, chili or barbecue sauce
4 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 teaspoons arrowroot or cornstarch
rice/soy milk
garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste

What you do:

Squish your sausages into little bits and mix with the oats. Press them into two round, flat burger patties, and coat them in breadcrumbs.
Put the oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the yeast and arrowroot and warm, stirring, until the yeast smells toasty (do not burn it!). Pour in a big splash of soy milk - not too much - you want a nice thick saucy consistency. Add the garlic powder and as much salt and pepper as you like. Simmer for a couple of minutes then remove from heat.
Lightly toast your burger buns inside and out. Spread them with avocado and your chosen sauce.
Fry the burgers in a little oil until golden-brown on both sides. Put them onto the burger bun bases, then spread the cheeze over the top. Add some salad greens and slap on the bun tops.
Voila! Cheezburger. :D
