2 tablespoons
1 teaspoon agave nectar (optional)
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons water

What you do:

1. Put a non-stick skillet on low-medium heat.
2. In a mixing bowl (preferably w/a pour spout) add the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder. Mix well.
3. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
4. Pour batter into skillet, wait for bubbles and edges to look kind of done, then flip and cook other side.
5. Repeat until you are out of batter

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I just made the recipe, using 2 tablespoons of oil instead of the apple sauce (?), brown sugar, and gluten free flour. I have to say that the result was pretty disappointing. The batter was really thin and runny, and the pancakes were more rubbery than fluffy. I also felt that they were somehow lacking flavor. They weren't bad, but I was expecting more. I drizzled some melted white chocolate chips on top, which improved the taste. Still, thanks for sharing.

I would like to try these, but one of the ingredients seems to be missing. After the cocoa powder, it only states "2 tablespoons" without the ingredient. Could you please let me know what the 2 Tbsp. are for? Thanks in advance.

Looking at the original recipe, I assume that the "2 tablespoons"  are for apple sauce. Is this correct?
