Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

What you need: 

1/2 cup vegan margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking soda

What you do: 

Preheat oven to 375F.
Combine margarine and sugars until blended. Add vanilla and peanut butter until smooth.
In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients, and then mix them into wet ingredients.
Roll into balls and place on cookie sheet. Make criss-cross marks on top of the cookies with a fork.
Bake for 10 minutes.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

these cookies rocked. i couldnt eat them myself because of allergies- but they were super easy. i put kisses in them (they were for my non vegan boyfriend). i would suggest looking for a vegan version on kisses because they were so cute and tastey looking.

So simple yet sooooo good!  The only change I made was to use almond flavoring instead of vanilla. My non-veg family insisted that these were the best peanut butter cookies ever to have entered this household. Thanks!

pretty standard recipe. i will make this and throw some rolled oats and maybe a handful of carob chips and see how that works out
