Cornmeal Breakfast

What you need: 

1/2 cup cornmeal
1 cup soymilk
3-4 tablespoons sucanat or sweetener of your choice
1/4 cup raisin or chopped dried apricots
1/4 cup almonds, slivered or whole
1 banana
1 tablespoons vanilla or maple flavoring
1-2 tablespoons maple syrup
pinch of salt

What you do: 

Put cornmeal, soymilk, sucanat, salt, maple flavoring in a pot and cook until nice and soft to your liking.
When cooked add raisins, almonds, mix into cooked cornmeal. I prefer my almonds whole, more to crunch on and enjoy, plus the raisins plump up in the warm cornmeal.
Cut banana into pieces and add as topping, then drizzle maple syrup on top.
