Creamy Sundried Tomato Dip

What you need:

1 package Tofutti Better Than Cream Cheese
4 to 5 sundried tomatoes in oil
3 to 4 chives, chopped
¼ teaspoon garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, minced
1/8 teaspoon salt to taste
½ teaspoon dried basil or 4 to 5 teaspoons fresh basil leaves

What you do:

Put Tofutti in a bowl and whip with a spoon until soft.
Cut the tomatoes either in strips or diced and fold into the Tofutti. I like to add a little of the oil from the jar as well.
Add the remaining ingredients and let set for 45 minutes to an hour.
This is a perfect spread on breads, bagels or crackers.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

Yummy!!! I was looking for something to snack on and I couldn't believe it when I had all the ingrediens in my kitchen (that never happens to me!) This was really good and went well with wheat thins...I am going to make this the next time I have some friends over!

mine came out a little thinner cause i used crushed roasted tomatoes with all the sauce, but it doesn't even make a difference because it was still delicious :)

This was really good even though I had to use green onions instead of chives... I didn't even wait to chow down I ate some right away on some wheat thins :)
