Delicious No Cheese Pizza

What you need:

1 pre-made pizza crust (Kroger brand is vegan)
1 jar pizza sauce
1 block firm tofu
1 package frozen spinach
bunch of basil (I use a lot!)
3-4 garlic cloves
whatever veggies you like on your pizza, I had tomatoes, onions, and green peppers in my fridge
olive oil
salt

What you do:

Preheat oven to 425F.
In a food processor, mince up the garlic, basil, and spinach with just a splash of oil. Once it is well blended, add tofu and process until nice and creamy. It should be a lovely light green color. Add however much salt you like.
Coat the pizza crust with a thin layer of pizza sauce, then dollop on the tofu mixture, using about 1/2 to 2/3. You can spread it out, or just leave it in lumps, it's good either way. Put whatever veggies you are using on top of this. Then, pour the rest of the sauce over the veggies and spread or dollop the rest of the tofu mixture on the very top. The effect is like a thick, layered pizza. This would be great in a deep dish crust, but I've never found those in the stores here.
Finally, bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the veggies are nice and cooked and the crust is crispy and browned. Cut and serve!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

For the pre-made pizza crust, I shop at Kroger, so for future reference, is this a pre-cooked pizza dough type that I would find in the pasta/sauce aisle, or is this in the refrigerated section kinda like the pillsbury roll out pizza crusts? Thanks!
