SO HOW'D IT GO?

Woohoo! I found my pizza crust! I doubled it for my fiance and I, added a couple teaspoons of garlic powder and some shakes of basil. Only put a few shakes of salt, too. I also added 2 tablespoons of cornmeal which gave it a nice texture. I didn't bother putting oil on it before the toppings. It was sooooo good! Very very easy indeed. Can't wait to make it again tonight! Thank you!  ;)b

Made this tonite.  Super easy to make, roll out, etc.  I added oregano to the crust dough and it was great.  I accidentally put sauce and oil on before the initial 5 minute bake and it still turned out great.  Just added a bit more sauce.  THANK YOU for this recipe. Very handy to have one as it is super super hard to find a store crust that is vegan and super hard to find a vegan recipe that doesnt require 2 hours to get your pizza done!!

The recipe calls for 1 tablespoon of active dry yeast.  I used a 1/4-ounce packet of yeast, which is 2-1/4 teaspoons, and it seemed to be okay.

I've been reluctant to make homemade dough because I already have a hard time rolling out the pre-made dough you can buy in the store.  At the same time, I'm reluctant to pay $5 for a vegan pre-cooked crust.  My craving for a buffalo chicken pizza finally got me to try this dough.  It's so easy!  The gluten doesn't have as much time to develop, so getting it spread out in the pan was simple with floured hands.  I slathered on bbq sauce, nacho FYH "cheese", topped with chopped Gardien "chicken" tossed in spices, and vwala!

This is great pizza dough! Rolls out nice and has a great taste. My husband made a double batch and it covered the large pizza tin we have.

^^ This is one of the best pizza crusts I've made! I couldn't find out if Meijer's natural pizza sauce was vegan (I didnt see organic sugar when I was at the store) so I just put some soy mozzerella on it, and it turned out great!1 I would like to try it with the sauce though. Awesome recipe!!

5 stars from me.

Because of certain comments here, for fun, I halved the recipe making 2 small pizzas; 1 with, 1 without yeast.  They were both great, only the yeastless, as to be expected, was a thin crust.  If I had no yeast, I'd do this any time.

The yeastless one, I have NO doubt, would be great to use for appetizers. I'd do a pile of mini's adding cracked pepper, maybe 1 T. parm-a-like cheeze, for toppings of Baba Ganoush, Mushroom or Olive Tampenade,r Eggplant Caviar, or even salsa.

If a softer, rather than crispy crust is desired, put a pan of water under the baking plate.

love love loved it! Dough was a bit sticky, so I added more flour so I could knead it a bit before baking, and realized I had a little excess leftover, so after making my awesome pizza, I used the leftover to make a few awesome mini cinnamon rolls for dessert! Thank you so much for this recipe, it will be in my weekly rotation.

Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. I have been searching for one that was easy. This was PERFECT!!! :)>>>I made one this afternoon. Now I can save money by making my own. I was spending a lot on Amy's pizza at Whole Foods.  But, this is just as good even if I did make it.  ;) Thank you a again.

Easy, yummy & quick? All of the above. It doesn't get any better than this. The first run, I followed the recipe to a T. The 2nd time around I added garlic powder, basil and oregano. It had a much better flavor with those additions. I'm so glad I found this recipe. I'll be using it a lot!
