SO HOW'D IT GO?

I just made this tonight and am disappointed that the middle is still undercooked even after 15 minutes.  I guess I didn't roll it out thin enough.  I'll try it again because it smells so good and I want to eat it!

This was wonderful. I made it last night. I changed it only slightly. I added a bit of sugar to see if it would help with rising but I dont know if it did. In one batch I added dried italian herbs. The pizza base was so light and fluffy. Really yum! :)

I just made this for the second time.  I made a big oops when I added the yeast to 1 cup of warm water instead of 1/2 cup.  I just increased the other ingredients and it turned out great.  I added tons of dried herbs and used rosemary infused olive oil.  I use only whole wheat flour and put in on the pizza crisper.  It made a thick pizza crust.  I added chucky pizza sauce, mushrooms, onions, minced garlic and nutritional yeast. Healthy meal and all you need to do is add a veggie salad.

Great recipe.  Easy to throw together and very forgiving.

Thanks for the recipe!

This recipe didn't make as much dough as I though it would, and I had to stretch it out pretty thin to cover my 12" pizza tray. Next time I'm definitely doubling it. That being said, MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! Love it! I topped it off with Follow Your Heart Vegan Gourmet Mozarella Cheese, Vegan brand parmesean cheese, and sprinkled with oregano. With the cheese melted just right, it tasted AMAZING! The crust was like traditional non-vegan pizza crust. Love it!  ;D

I made a version of this crust for pizza last night.  I used whole wheat flour (1 cup); Vital Wheat Gluten (1/4 cup) ; 1/2 cup warm water, yeast and olive oil.  I added 1 tsp of oregano, parsley and garlic powder and a dash of salt.  It turned out great!  I was a little worried about making all the changes, but it was wonderful.  I baked it for 5 minutes and then added a thin layer of minced garlic (which I have on hand at all times) and then baked that for a few more minutes before adding my sauce and toppings.  Delicious!

This was awesome. I made a whole-wheat rosemary/olive oil crust with this, and topped it with pasta sauce (fine sub for pizza sauce), baby spinach, canned mushrooms, and some of the cheese sauce from the "cheesy bean/cheese enchiladas" recipe. I'm gonna make my own pizza with this recipe from now on instead of buying a frozen vegetarian pizza for pizza night, because this tastes much better and costs much less. Thank you!

I made this tonight with a few adjustments. I doubled the recipe, used 2 cups wholewheat flour and 1/2 cup white flour. I added 1/2 tsp of sugar to the yeast mixture, because my flatmate said I had to feed the yeast to make it fart bubbles. I added 1 tablespoon of oregano, 1 tablespoon of basil and some mixed herbs. I used only 3 tablespoons of oil and I think I could cut more out next time. I also cut the salt down to 1/2 teaspoon. I used 1/4 of the mixture for my pizza and my boyfriend made two pizzas out of the rest of the dough. We kneaded it, I don't know if we were supposed to, but we did.

With the above alterations my pizza base had 392 Calories, my boyfriends two pizzas came to 1174 Calories.

Easy, yummy and quick indeed! I made mine with mashed peas, mint and roasted garlic, and turned on the broiler at high for the last 5 minutes of cooking. I also added 1 tablespoon of sugar to the yeast, just because that was what I was taught to do. I will be making this often!
