SO HOW'D IT GO?
This was good,it was quick and easy. I made stuffed crust(vegan cheddar cheese) with homemade sauce, topped with vegan mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage and onions. This was one of he best pizzas I ever made. This is a keeper. O h yeah I added basil and oregano to the dough I love mines with those herbs in it.
wow VERY quick VERY easy and VERY tasty. Mmm! I upped the recipe to 2/3 cup water and 1 1/2 cup flour, thinking i'd need it to make a whole meal for myself (I eat a lot), but the original recipe would have been more than enough. I put tomato sauce, basil, oregano, black pepper, garlic pepper, sliced red bell pepper, mushrooms and kalamata olives under shredded Vegan Gourmet mozarella.
BTW, WOW, I thought all vegan cheese was shit before tonight. I mean, there are some cheese that I thought tasted okay -- and I love Lady Dragonfly's uncheese -- but even when it was good, I never thought fake cheese tasted much like cheese. But the Vegan Gourmet mozarella is ABSURDLY delicious, and it tastes just like real mozarella, imo. I couldn't believe it; I'd been a doubter so long. I felt like Paul (it's Paul right?) on the road to Damascus. I'd had VG cheddar before and didn't care for it.
This was quick & delicious. I added some oregano to it to add a little extra flavor. thanks for this recipe!
this recipe sounds sooo good. i want to try it with some good toppings, like broccoli, veggie sausage, and orange peppers. i want to put vegan mozzerella on it, but theres no store that sells it around here :'( are there any other good brands besides follow your heart?
OH my !!!!!!!! i was so excited to find an easy pizza crust, i added a few herbs and spices to spice it up a bit, Thank you so much :D
I LOVE this easy recipe, although I have modified it. I change up the flour a bit by using almost a half cup of vital wheat gluten, a half cup of oats, a handful of flax seeds and the rest whole wheat flour. I also add rosemary and garlic powder. I don't turn my oven on until I have made the dough and then I let it sit by the oven while it heats. This gives it a moment to rise and me a chance to prepare toppings!!!! :)
Simple, Fast & Delicious! I only used 1/2 teaspoon of Salt & used Olive Oil instead of Vegetable Oil. After cooking the dough for 5 min. I rubbed Olive Oil on the Crust Instead of Margerine.
My Toppings: Broccoli, 1 Tomato, Red/Yellow/Green Bell Pepper
I let the Pizza cook for 20 mins for a nice crisp.
Was Fabulous without Cheese! Great Recipe!
Baking is usually quite a challenge for me, so I was totally surprised that this recipe came out perfectly the first time!!! It was really delicious. I doubled the recipe to fill a 12 inch pan and used 1 cup whole wheat flour and 1 -1/2 cup unbleached white flour. I was expecting the whole thing to be kind of dense, chewy, and flavorless, but it was a perfect texture all the way through and completely yummy!!! I will use this recipe again and again. Thank you so much! (and thanks for making it so quick and easy!!!) :D
Wonderful recipe. As usual I waited until the last minute to decide what to make for dinner. I saw this recipe and thought how nice it would be to have a pizza. So I made this crust and it came out wonderfully. Definately a keeper.
;D This recipe is awsome. I used 1 packet of yeast and it came out superb. The dough was sticley at first but I kept working with it and it came to be perfect. I used a homemade pizza sauce and used MorningStar sausage crumbles, spinach, 1 yellow onion, 1 red onion as toppings. Finishing the top off with some vegan soy motz chesse made me die and go to heaven.
