Electric Chocolate, Peanut Butter & Banana Shake

What you need:

1 1/4 cups cold brewed coffee
1 medium sized ripe banana , frozen
2 tablespoons peanut butter
2 heaping teaspoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon agave nectar
3 ice cubes
splash vanilla extract

What you do:

1. Combine in blender.
2. Blend until smooth.
I save the coffee leftovers of my french press every day, if there are any, and keep them in a container in my fridge. You can have iced coffee, shakes, frappes or cook with it whenever you want.
Source of recipe: I really wanted a shake and coffee. My belly didn't have room for both so I went for it. The banana lends the creaminess along with the peanut butter, and the coffee and cocoa powder compliment each other well. I'd love to have this on the way to work to give me the caffeine I want without the empty calories of a coffee beverage.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

This looks dreamy!  I'm going to use carob powder and almond milk, PB2 for lower fat.

I've made it 5 or 6 times now...I think I'm addicted!  I tried adding some cinnamon today and that made a nice variation.

This is delicious!  I was looking for a way to use up some brown bananas and this was the perfect solution!  I used molasses because I'm running low on agave and I added about 1/2 c almond milk.  You can't beat coffee, cocoa, banana, and pb!
