SO HOW'D IT GO?

Just made these tonight, was craving something sweet. We added brown sugar to the batter, fried, then sprinkled more brown sugar and cinnamon once they were done. These aren't the healthiest, but boy are they good. Thanks for the quick and tasty recipe. My kids love these.

I just tried my very first piece of fry bread and not only was it tasty, it was so simple to prepare with little clean up! I topped mine with cinnamon, sugar, and a few slices of apple; so good. Thank you for this recipe!

Hmm, yummy. I put in a little bit more sugar and fried it in a pan instead of deep frying it. I put way too much water in the dough at first so had to add more flour, so for anyone making this: go slow with the water!
Because of my impatience with the water the dough was sticky and I couldn't stretch it, so I just dropped clumps in the pan and pressed them down. Very yummy but not something I recommend for the health conscious  ;)

Good with maple syrup and powdered sugar.  :D

I am really surprised how easy this is to prepare and how little oil this bread absorbs. What I recommend is to cut back the baking powder just a pinch because you might be able to taste it, as well as frying it over a medium meat for an extra crispy exterior.  I love this topped with cinnamon and sugar, and I've made this recipe 3x already!

I make something very very similar to this and I spread some mustard on it.

YUM YUM YUM!!!!
I made these on a whim. Totally bad for you but soooo good! I ate half with powdered sugar (mmm funnel cake like) and half with salsa!! OOoo soooooo good! I think this is my new favorite treat! The picture doesn't do it justice.

I used this version of the recipe:
2 cups Flour (half WW)
1 tsp. Salt
3 tsp. Baking Powder
1 cup Water  (+ kneaded more flour to make them less sticky to handle
I patted them and then streched them very thin cuz they really puff.

Omg, this was awesome!
I've never made fry bread before, I wasn't even sure it would work, but it was soooo good.

You can make dinner.
I put beans, tomatoes, and lettuce on it.
