Garbanzo and Sun Dried Tomato Tasty Spread

What you need:

2 cups garbanzo beans (cooked)
2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes (soak in warm water if they are dried)
1/2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 cup walnut halves
1-2 tablespoons water, optional

What you do:

1. Place everything except the water into the bowl of a food processor.
2. Pulse 5-6 times until mixed and chunky. You can pulse it more if you want something more spreadable, but I enjoyed it with some texture.
3. If it is really crumbly and you don't like that, add the optional water, mixing it in until you get the texture/consistency you want.
Eat with some raw veggies as a snack or put on a sandwich! Hope you enjoy.
Source of recipe: This is a creation that resulted from a tahini recall. I couldn't make hummus so I got creative and it tasted really good!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

Very very very tasty. Smells like bruschetta but tastes even better.

This hummus is awesome. I like the addition of walnuts for a crunchy texture. The only change I made was that I used oil packed seasoned sundried tomatoes. The extra seasonings added a wonderful flavor. I'll definitely be making this again. Thanks!

This was tasty. I skimped on the sundried tomatoes (I was running out). I wished that I just would have used all of them :'( they really made the spread yummy. Oh well.... next time

Nice! But I think next time I'll go with lemon juice instead of balsamic.

Really good as a sandwich with alfalfa sprouts.  Also really good just by itself.
