Garlicky Mushrooms (Champiñones al Ajillo)

What you need:

2 to 3 tablespoons olive oil*
4 to 5 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
1 pound (500 g) large mushrooms, sliced
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste

What you do:

1. Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add and sauté garlic until just fragrant.
2. Add mushrooms and sauté until cooked through.
3. Season with salt and pepper.
It's a delicious, inexpensive and fast side dish.
* The kind of garlic that has purple inner "paper" around the cloves is best. Spanish bars make this a bit oily, to sop bread in.
Source of recipe: This is a traditional Spanish tapa, easy and fast.
