SO HOW'D IT GO?

does anyone know what the difference between whole wheat pastry flour and whole wheat flour is? what kind of difference does it make in baking?

Usually soy flour can not be substituted equally for wheat flour.  But since there is such a small amount of soy flour called for in this recipe, it would be okay.  It just acts as a binder and regular flour would do that too.  Make sure though that you don't overmix the regular flour because it contains a protein called gluten what will stiffen/make your cookies bready.
