How To make Soynuts

What you need:

3 cups soybeans
8 cups cold water
large bowl for soaking
oil or Pam
non-stick cookie sheet

What you do:

Soak the soybeans in the bowl filled with water for 6 hours until doubled or tripled in size, rinse with water, drain.
Spray or oil the cookie sheet and pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Put rinsed soybeans out on the cookie sheet in a single layer, bake in oven for 30-45 minutes, turning the beans so that they are evenly light-brown and have a "nutty" smell ( as well as a taste when done! :) )
Pull from oven and cool, you can eat them plain, they have their own distinct flavor or season them how you wish! ( Seeing as they are a legume instead of an actual nut, store in the fridge)

I made these tonight. I just used a can of soy beans that i had nothing to do with. They were yummy, I think i had them in for like 35 minutes (but i had them on 325 for some reason). I just seasoned them with a little salt, very good!
