Hummus Sans Tahini

What you need:

1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained (1/4 cup liquid reserved)
1 clove garlic
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon red pepper (ground or flakes)
splash olive oil

What you do:

1. Add beans to a food processor/blender.
2. Add other ingredients and blend until it is the way you like it, adding chickpea liquid as needed.
I personally love this with "woven wheat" crackers.'

SO HOW'D IT GO?

This sounds like a yummy recipe! It's nice to find a hummus recipe that doesn't call for tahini, which is only sporadically sold where I live.
